Jailbreak iPhone 4S

Sure shot method to jailbreak iphone 4S iOS 5.0.1 for windows users


2) Now, Extract that downloaded .zip file in your C drive and connect your phone to your pc
3) Click on start>search>run and enter to open it. In the blank field, typecmd.exe
4) When the command window is opened which would appear in black (default), type  CD C:\cinject_0.4.3 to go into the downloaded folder.


5) Another step is to execute the Command Line Interface (CLI). Now, you need to type this: cinject.exe -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig
select install jaibreak...
then click next...
then click done...
6) When you are done with the above command, write this on the same window for the execution: cinject.exe -j payloads And wait for it to take the backup.
7) In the end, just execute this command - cinject.exe -w
after this go in settings n toggle VPN till your phone reboots
and you are jailbroken

    how long is the backup supposed to take??? I've been waiting for like an hour for it to backup...

      time of backup depends on your data..but should not take such long

      I had my password lock on I heard that can make the jailbreak fail... so I'm going to try again

      i have been waiting for more than an hour how long does it take for the process to complete the backup? i have a 16g 4s?

    On the backup near the end of: cinject.exe -j payloads

    I get the error:
    recv: Bad file descriptor
    FATAL(__LINE__): Assertion failed (1266): got == sizeof(size)
    1266

    .. help! :)

      remove the cinject_0.4.3 folder inside the cinject_0.4.3 folder n try...it will work

    When I type in the command it says 'path not find' I download the file and type in the command and that's what I get. Please help!

      dont worry download again from link above...then extract it somewhere...then u will have a folder named cinject_0.4.3...open it...there will be another cinject_0.4.3 folder inside it...place this folder in your c drive and follow the tutorial

    After i done the whole process untill cydia icon appear on my page, then I click on the cydia icon, its reboot and now..... stuck on apple logo for 2 hour d???? pls help!!!

    When I download and extract the file then go to the prompt screen type in the command all I get is "system can not find path specified". Now I don't know what to do

    hey after i do the cinject.exe -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig command, the thing appears on my phone screen and i click install but im brought to a page where it requires me to enter my password for the VPN account "pod2g"... whats the passworD? if i press next without anth it says unable to install

    need your help. i got this message:

    after that I toggle my VPN to ON, and "a configuration error occured"
    I click OK.

    after that, nothing happen.. no reboot, no cydia icon..

    Thank you for this guide! Extremely helpful! I have completed everything up to toggling the VPN switch. Nothing is happening after I click ok from the error message. I am running this on my iphone 4s. Do I just need to keep toggling or will I need to go back and repeat a step?

    I keep toggling VPN on my iPad 2 after no problems on all above steps. Just keep getting "A configurations error occurred"
    How many toggles am I looking at?
